𝐖𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐒 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄! 🎉💯👏

Among the 16 universities included in the list, PUP is at top 7, securing a global rank within #551-600. This is the first time PUP entered the world rankings alongside the University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu, Far Eastern University (FEU), and Mindanao State University (MSU).

𝐏𝐔𝐏 𝐀𝐊𝐎, 𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐘𝐎 | PUPians claim championship for the National Civil Engineering Quiz 2023 held at University of the Philippines-Diliman earlier, September 30.

Sam Robertson Pelegrino and Aldean Gem De Guzman, both from BSCE IV-3, aced their way until the finals round and dominated other participants from all over the country.

Also present in the competition were fellow participants, namely Mark Angelo Lolong (BSCE IV-2) and Jhery Mei Guevara (BSCE IV -1), coached by PUP Civil Engineering faculty member Engr. Aldrin Lumbang and Engr. Kenneth Bryan Tana, the department chairperson.

In 2019 edition of the contest Engr. Lumbang, together with Engr. Marie Angelica Diegor and Engr. Mark Adrianne Cailao, was a part of the prevailing squad. This recent triumph is our university's back-to-back win after the Covid-19 Pandemic temporarily suspended the competition.

National Civil Engineering Quiz 2023 is presented by the UP Association of Civil Engineering Students in partnership with Review Innovations and JCVA Consulting Agency.
