Day 4 and 5 of the 5-day training program entitled “Diskartrepreneur; Unlad Tulay ng Barangay”. The Tilanggit team, project beneficiaries, LSPU faculty members, and ATBI Incubatees actively participated in the event hosted by the Department of Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB-DAME) in collaboration with IP TBM with the Tilanggit Project.

On day 4 of the training program, the speaker discusses a salesmanship lecture by highlighting commitment to work and demand for quality and efficiency of products. The participants also prepared some products for their preparation for the fifth day of the training program.

On the last day of the training program, the tilanggit beneficiaries and other participants experienced an actual sale at the UPLB Saturday Bazaar to apply their learnings throughout the 5-day training program.

Participants received certificates, and Ms. Carmela Jhoy M. Dy, PhD, gave the closing remarks.

Day 3 of the 5-day training program entitled “Diskartrepreneur; Unlad Tulay ng Barangay”. The Tilanggit team, project beneficiaries, LSPU faculty members, and ATBI Incubatees actively participated in the event hosted by the Department of Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB-DAME) in collaboration with IP TBM with the Tilanggit Project.

On day 3 of the training program, in the morning session, the participants learned how to grow their money by listening to the topics of risk-taking, self-confidence, persuasion, and networking. In the afternoon, the participants were asked to prepare for the activity for the fourth day of the training program.

Day 2 of the 5-day training program entitled “Diskartrepreneur; Unlad Tulay ng Barangay”. The Tilanggit team, project beneficiaries, LSPU faculty members, and ATBI Incubatees actively participated in the event hosted by the Department of Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB-DAME) in collaboration with IP TBM with the Tilanggit Project.

On day 2 of the training program, the participants pitched their ideas and did some reporting. They also learned about the business model canvas and systematic planning and monitoring through the workshop.

Day 1 of the 5-day training program entitled “Diskartrepreneur; Unlad Tulay ng Barangay”. The Tilanggit team, project beneficiaries, LSPU faculty members and ATBI Incubatees, actively participated in the event hosted by the Department of Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB-DAME) in collaboration with IP TBM with the Tilanggit Project.

On day 1 of the training program, they discussed personal entrepreneurial competencies, market research simulation, and its outdoor application.

In partnership with the College of Business Administration and Accountancy, the Tilanggit team conducted training for basic accounting for the Tilanggit women beneficiaries.

Resource Speakers Jose Fernando N. Tabuzo, MBA, a faculty member of CBAA, and Dean Wilfredo V. Dangue, CPA, discussed the importance of collaboration, efficient financial management, basic accounting, and the importance of recording each process and transaction in business.

The team would also like to acknowledge the CBAA students who helped the beneficiaries record transactions in their journals.

The DOST-PCAARRD conducted a monitoring and site visit to the three barangays (Malinta, Bayog, and Mayondon). They assessed the condition of the women beneficiaries and their equipment for producing Tilanggit products.

The Tilanggit team is thankful for the cooperation of the barangay officials in the project, as they greatly contributed to the ex*****on of the initiative and provided valuable support to the women beneficiary.

Earlier today, fisherfolks from the three barangays underwent a short training on Intensive Tilapia Production Training to produce small-sized tilapia that will be used in tilanggit production.

During the Intensive Tilapia Production Training, Sir Ryan DM. Moldez, an Aquaculturist II from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) 4A, provided a comprehensive overview of producing small-sized tilapia for intensive culture production in ponds. His presentation included detailed information on tilapia hatchery ponds and their significance in the implementation of the tilanggit project.
