A break in the weather!

Our free range chickens are finally out after quite some time due to poor weather.

Thanks to the rain though, they are very much enjoying the spurt of abundant grasses and plants throughout their ranging area.

Deep Litter / Chicken Coop Composting Method:

Used to prevent the unpleasant smell caused by the mixture of chicken manure and urine. This method is also used to keep chickens warm inside the coop during the night or rainy season as heat is produced by the composting process.

Poultry Feed Cost Reduction:

Free Range Chickens can have 10% of their daily diet to consist of fruits, plants, or vegetables. This promotes a more natural feeding program while also reducing poultry feed costs.
