See you September 9!

If you’ve ever had your idea brushed aside for being “for women,” or if you just want to feel seen and heard, this is the event for you. ✨

If you think there aren’t enough products and solutions for you as a woman — be it in beauty, wellness, finance, food, lifestyle, business — this is for you too! 🙏

We’re talking about “Designing Products for Women” at the next hashtag on Tuesday, September 9!

Our guest speaker will kick things off for us. Meet Liz Lanuzo, founder and editor-in-chief of Project Vanity. Liz began her journey as a pioneering beauty blogger and evolved into a leading content creator, editor, and founder, building one of the most trusted, no-BS communities for Filipinas online. Through honest reviews, empowering advice, and always speaking truth to power, Liz has helped thousands of women feel more confident in themselves and their choices.

Liz will open the evening by sharing her story: the early days, the leaps, and the lessons learned from building genuine community in a space often shaped by expectations.

Then we’ll discuss, as a group, what it means to champion hashtag ideas, the people behind them, and the impact of letting these businesses thrive.

Don’t miss your chance to connect, reflect, and be inspired. We’ll unpack what it really takes to move women-focused ideas forward.

Real change starts when we look beyond the usual playbook and dive deep into the heart of real-world challenges. Inclusive founders do more than build businesses. They spark new possibilities for communities who have been overlooked for too long.

The future belongs to those willing to explore uncharted territory, embrace complexity, and keep iterating, even when it’s hard. As an ecosystem, let’s champion bold founders, celebrate unconventional solutions, and cultivate the patience and courage innovation truly needs.

When we support leaders who go to the depths, we unlock impact that goes far beyond profit. That’s how we create an economy where everyone can win.

When Hey Roomie launched their public platform in July 2023 — as the virtual homebase for today’s modern communities — they quickly became home to some of the top fan clubs and university orgs in the country. They were ambitious, gearing up for a regional play as they worked to redefine how fan communities and brands connect and engage in the digital age.

These days, Hey Roomie’s flexing their latest win, as they welcome the newest and fast-rising P-Pop girl group FINIX to “turn fans into roomies”. 🔥

But we know — any founder or leader in the startup space KNOWS — that behind the scenes is the painful struggle to raise capital, find resources, and keep the business alive while trying to build, launch, and sustain an innovative product.

🎙️ So let’s ask Hey Roomie’s founder and CEO, Ina Flores: How did she do it? How did she look at capital raising, investors, and funding? What did she learn about herself in the process? And what misconceptions about fundraising did she discover?

Ina will be the guest speaker at our next , as we discuss “Fundraising Barriers and Breakthroughs". After she shares her story, we (everyone in the room!) will dive deeper into the discussion.

Add your voice, your stories, your questions to our conversation. We need to hear from YOU too.

Today, we celebrate all the incredible mothers, parents, and caregivers who nurture, support, and inspire us every day.

Motherhood is as diverse as love itself - it includes biological moms, stepmoms, foster moms, grandmothers, guardians, LGBTQ+ parents, single parents, and every family structure that shapes our lives.

On this Mother’s Day, we honor the unique journeys and stories that make motherhood so rich and meaningful. We recognize that for some, today may bring joy, and for others, it may bring complex feelings or loss. To everyone, we send love, respect, and gratitude.

Let’s celebrate the strength, resilience, and boundless love that all mother figures embody - beyond stereotypes and traditional roles. Thank you for the countless ways you care, lead, and nurture our communities.

How does exclusion look in the Philippines?

Too often, it’s about class, access, and

quiet social hierarchies. (Though most won’t call it that.)

In the Philippines, who you are and where you come from matter significantly.

There are the subtle ways we decide who belongs in certain rooms — and who doesn’t.
