Sexual harassment may result in dismissal, criminal penalties, and company liability for damages when appropriate action is not taken. Employers are also required to establish policies and preventive measures, making employee education—especially for management—essential.

This seminar will discuss what constitutes sexual harassment, prohibited remarks and behaviors, who may be liable, its application across different workplace relationships, LGBTQ+ concerns, and the prescriptive period for filing complaints.
It will also cover workplace anti-discrimination laws and their impact on employee morale, company reputation, and talent retention.

𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐏-𝐃𝐈 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 🤝

On 27–28 August 2026, ECOP and the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) kicked off the ECOP-DI TVET planning session under the upcoming Strategic Partnership Agreement 3 (SPA3).

The team visited Don Bosco-One TVET Philippines and the D.M. Consunji Technical Training Center to explore industry-responsive TVET approaches and met with the Danish Trade Union Development Agency (DTDA) to discuss strengthening employer–labor partnerships and social dialogue in skills development.

The discussions emphasized the need for TVET to prepare workers not only for today’s jobs, but also for the future, equipping them with skills in green jobs, AI, digitalization, and emerging technologies.

ECOP remains committed to bringing together employers, labor, TVET institutions, government, and development partners to address skills gaps and build a demand-driven workforce ready for the changing world of work.
