OWWA opens OFW lounge in Clark International Airport

The OFW Lounge at the Clark International Airport will be open 24/7 for OFWs waiting for their trip. It has a 40 seating capacity and provides complimentary meals, coffee, refreshment drinks, free Wi-Fi, charging stations aside from being a frontline service point to access programs and services of the OWWA.

New DOLE office to support our Filipino seafarers!

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has established the Maritime Labor Affairs Office (MLAO) to strengthen its assistance to Filipino seafarers.

Administrative Order No. 283 mandates the MLAO to provide Filipino seafarers with legal assistance, conciliation, dispute resolution, workers’ education, and employment services.

Good News to our Filipino Seafarers!

Filipino seafarers will soon be able to take all regular training courses at the National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP) free of charge starting August 3, 2026, under the implementation of the Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers.

The initiative aims to make maritime training more accessible and help seafarers enhance their skills without paying training fees.

Noong June 07, ipinagdiwang natin Migrant Workers Day bilang pagkilala sa milyon-milyong Overseas Filipino Wokres na nagsasakripisyo para sa kanilang mga pamilya.

Ngayong June 25, espesyal naman nating binibigyang-pugay ang ating mga marino—mga bayaning tahimik na humaharap sa hamon ng buhay sa dagat upang mabigyan ng mas magandang kinabukasan ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay.

Sa bawat mahabang buwan na malayo sa tahanan, sa bawat unos na inyong nalalampasan, at sa bawat sakripisyong inyong pinipiling tahimik na dalhin, naroon ang inyong pagmamahal at dedikasyon para sa pamilya at sa inyong propesyon.
