This is a new role and assist our Compliance and Development team by setting up, and leading a small, new team of instructional designers to meet our clients learning resource needs. Once a core team has been established, an opportunity may arise for the right candidate to lead a larger team.
It is a full-time role located in Makati CBD and is a great opportunity for individuals with loads of resource development and quality assurance experience across a broad range of topics.
This role is a great opportunity for those with experience in instructional design, technical writing, and editing. This will also be a great opportunity for those seeking more experience in development of learning resources, instructional design, and quality assurance in a leadership level.
The ROLE:
As a Lead Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and QA learning and assessment resources
- Conduct research on the Australian vocational education industry to development learning and assessment resources
- Liaise with clients and the international head office
- Work within course project plans and timelines to create, update, and design learning content
- Participate in validation and moderation activities on existing learning materials for quality and compliance
- Proofreading, editing, and formatting developed resources
- Creating and auditing of learning resources to meet compliance standards
- Document formatting and editing;
- Implement suggested improvements to courses and learning materials
- Provide mentoring and coaching to members of your team
- Create and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Training and Compliance Coordinator
Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate / Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field
- Team management experience
- Experience in creating English learning content across a range of disciplines
- Adept research and writing skills across a broad range of industries
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, great attention to detail, above average typing speed and accuracy, proficient with MS Office programs, strong data entry skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and flexibility in completing various tasks
- Ability to work autonomously
- Background in writing or developing resource materials
- Candidates willing to start immediately will be prioritised
