The Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) served as strategic planning partner of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in its Operational Planning engagement, facilitating the translation of the SEC’s strategic direction into concrete priorities and actionable initiatives toward STREAM 2030.

As Chairman Francis Lim reflected during the engagement, the foundation laid by previous SEC leaders need not be reinvented: “We need to own it.” More than an exercise in planning, the engagement reinforced a deeper principle that the identified priority initiatives are not merely management initiatives. They are a collective responsibility.
