Happy 53rd Anniversary PITC!
The Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) marked its 53rd Anniversary with a meaningful celebration guided by the theme, “Growing Beyond Challenges, Building Beyond Expectations.”
The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Mass, followed by a GAD Seminar on the Safe Spaces Act facilitated by Marketing Consultant Ryu Policarpio, reflecting PITC’s commitment to inclusivity, respect, and a safe workplace for all. The program also featured an AVP presentation that looked back on PITC’s journey, milestones, and challenges overcome through the years.
In her opening remarks, PITC President and CEO Mary M. Tong reflected on 53 years of resilience, service, transformation, and renewed purpose. She recognized the dedication of the PITC family and emphasized that the Corporation’s achievements are the result of collective effort, commitment, and hard work.
President Tong also highlighted PITC’s recent milestones, including strengthened engagements with government agencies, local government units, industry partners, foreign embassies, chambers of commerce, and international organizations, as well as its recognition by the Department of Trade and Industry as one of the Top Three Most Compliant Attached Agencies.
The celebration continued with special performances and the recognition of employees through the Loyalty Service Award and Sales Challenge Award, honoring dedication, excellence, and meaningful contributions to the Corporation.
The latter part of the program was made more meaningful with a special message from DTI Undersecretary Allan B. Gepty and the presence of National Development Company (NDC) General Manager Saturnino H. Mejia and NDC Assistant General Manager Joyce Anne N. Alimon, who joined PITC in celebrating this milestone.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Atty. Maria Gudelia C. Guese, who previously served as PITC’s Officer-in-Charge, adding a meaningful reflection on the Corporation’s journey and continued service.
Carrying the lessons, experiences, and achievements built over the years, PITC looks ahead with renewed purpose as it continues to grow beyond challenges, build beyond expectations, and serve as a committed partner in advancing Philippine trade, government procurement support, and value-driven public service.
Here’s to 53 years of service—and to moving forward together as one PITC.
