Alalay Sa Kaunlaran Inc. (ASKI) is a global development organisation dedicated to holistic transformation. Their inception dates back to October 1986, a pivotal year marked by the EDSA People Power Revolution, political turmoil, and leadership transition. Witnessing the pressing needs and challenging circumstances within the communities, a group of Christian business leaders in Nueva Ecija decided to establish an organisation poised to provide essential assistance. Today, ASKI operates 98 branches, serving 100,000 clients and insuring 800,000 members and their families. ASKI has forged local and international partnerships, collaborating with industry peers to address the needs of poor families.
With over three decades of dedicated service in the development sector, ASKI Group has achieved remarkable milestones and overcome formidable obstacles. What started as a modest office in Cabanatuan City has flourished into an organisation that not only serves rural communities but also extends support to overseas Filipino workers.
Commenting on this huge accomplishment, Rolando B. Victoria, ASKI Group President noted that this achievement was an encouragment, allowing them to see that their efforts to go against current workplace trends of disengagement and burnout were not in vain.
