BukayKafi Indigenous Resources Development Center attended the International Celebration of Indigenous Languages (IDIL: 2022-2032) National Conference at the UP Dilliman Campus last October 24 to 27 2022 and lately at the UP Visayas, Iloilo City, Feb 21-24. It was such a great moment and opportunity with DepEd Sarangani( Dr. Donna Panes; Fulung Melchor Maguan; and Ms. Evan Campos) and Fulung Kernie Fanagel of Malapatan Indigenous Peoples Empowerment Program(IPEP). Thanks to Tebteba Foundation and Talaytayan Pilipinas Foundation who served as Sponsors and aOrganizers of the event. The conference at UP was graced by a UN Rapporteur.

Attended the public hearing conference on the newly-crafted Malapatan Comprehensive Land Use Plan(CLUP) at the provincial gymnasium on July 22. 2020 attended by Barangay Captains land owners, business sectors, line government agencies and conducted by the Land Use Zoning Board of Malapatan LGU. The completion of the plan was made possible thru the Technical Working Group (TWG) with the participation of three consultants-a mapper and a writer and BukayKafi Main Consultant, Fulung Fredo P. Basino as lead facilitator. Congratulations Malapatan LGU under the inspiring and capable leadership of the good Mayor Jun Sumbo and VM Jean Delos Santos and the Sangguniang Bayan Members.

I am invited to speak to members of SMI Scholars Alumni Association (SSAA) at sitio Upper Lasang, Brgy. Sapu Masla, Malapatan, Sarangani Province.

I got the chance to share my knowledge on social media and how this platform can help spread relevant stories and advocacies. My talk also help them realized their purpose and role in their respective communities.
