TIP OF THE DAY!
When you get pulled wide on a d**k, don’t force the sharp cross-court angle. Instead, look to hit the ball back through the middle or down the line, aiming toward the middle of the box to prevent your opponent from Erne-ing.
Going straight ahead is often easier from a wide position because you don’t have to get your paddle all the way around the ball to create the angle. It also keeps you and your partner in a better defensive position. By going through the middle or straight ahead, you won’t have to scramble back across the court, and your opponent’s offensive d**k won’t create an opening for them to attack.
