Update on NGCP Emergency Power Interruption

Date: October 24, 2024 (Thursday)
Power Outage:9:50 PM
Estimated Time of Restoration: To be determined
Reason: Trip Bay-Calamba/Sto. Tomas 69kV line due to "Typhoon Kristine" Storm Signal No. 2
Cause: Snapped 69kV line between MALVEZ and CDO (100% completed)
Cut jumper wire on 69kV tapping point of FITUI, Sto. Tomas (for NGCP assessment)

Affected Areas:
Tanauan City
Municipality of Malvar
Municipality of Talisay
Municipality of Laurel
For Lipa City:
Portion of Brgy. Inosluban West (Starting Olan s Nursery)
Whole Area of Brgy. Bugtong
For Balete:
Portion of Brgy. Solis

We will continue coordinating with NGCP for their upcoming repairs.
