We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and costing ducting, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) brackets and fixings, electrical trade components, and fire trade systems, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. You will play a critical role in preparing estimates and creating schedules.

Responsibilities:
▪ Accurately measure and quantify ducting, HVAC brackets and fixings, electrical containment components, and fire trade containment based on project drawings and specifications
▪ Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for materials, HVAC, electrical containment, and fire trade disciplines
▪ Assist in preparing tender documents, including schedules of rates and quantities for ducting, HVAC components, electrical installations, and fire protection systems
▪ Prepare and present regular cost reports, highlighting project progress, cost variations, and forecasts for all relevant trades
▪ Ensure all measurements and costings comply with industry standards, client specifications, and relevant regulations for HVAC, electrical, and fire protection systems

The IDEAL CANDIDATE:
▪ Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying
▪ Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in HVAC and electrical
▪ Proficiency in measurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
▪ Strong understanding of ducting, HVAC brackets and fixings, and electrical containment components
▪ Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex drawings and specifications across multiple trades
▪ Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
▪ Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
