Senator Bam talked about the "Strategic Roles of Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Officials in Fostering an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem" in their respective localities and communities.

2nd Joint Negosyo Sa Barangay & Negosyo Sa Kabataan!

DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS

We kicked off the event with an inspiring Welcome Remarks by Mr. Joey G. Pelaez, Executive Director of DCFL, followed by an insightful Special Messages from the representative of Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong and Executive Director Clare Marie Toralba of DTI-PTTC-GMEA.

The day’s program culminated with a Keynote Lecture on Agricultural Transformation: From Traditional to Globally Competitive by Mr. Winston Uy, President of Universal Leaf Philippines with sidebar interview moderated by the dynamic Ms. Josephine Romero, President of Private Sector Jobs and Skills Corp.

It was a day full of inspiration, innovation, and new opportunities for the growth of businesses in our communities and barangays!

Watch DTI-PTTC-GMEA Executive Director Clare Mari Torralba and DCFL Executive Director Jose Mari "Joey" G. Peláez expound on the rationale of the Entrepreneurship Development Training dubbed as the 2nd Joint Negosyo Sa Barangay and Negosyo Sa Kabataan which was held in Baguio City last July 28-31 2025.

The four-day training was participated by more than one thousand Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Officials.
