As of June 26, 2026, Ontario has officially replaced all previous OINP streams with a single Ontario Workforce Priority (OWP) Stream, introducing three new pathways to permanent residence designed to address the province’s current labour market needs.
✅ TEER 0–3 Skilled Workers Pathway
For professionals, managers, and skilled trades with a permanent full-time job offer.
✅ TEER 4–5 Essential Workers Pathway
For workers in essential occupations experiencing ongoing labour shortages.
âś… Self-Employed Physicians Pathway
A dedicated pathway for eligible physicians registered to bill through OHIP—no traditional job offer required.
âť— Important: Previous OINP streams, including the Human Capital Priorities, Masters Graduate, and other legacy streams, have now been permanently closed.
