The Philippines has emerged as the top coffee-consuming nation in Southeast Asia and ranks 5th worldwide, according to Bloomberg Opinion’s analysis of 2023 USDA data. The country consumed 7.0 million 60kg bags of coffee, surpassing regional neighbors, including Indonesia, which ranked 8th globally with 4.3 million bags.

This milestone highlights the growing love for coffee among Filipinos, from local brews to global coffee chains. The Philippines’ strong coffee culture continues to thrive, solidifying its place on the world stage.
