Fr Greg is the founder of Homeboy Industries, the largest gang intervention, rehabilitation, and prison reentry program in the United States. A recent recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Fr G, as he is fondly called by his homies, has dedicated years of his life to transforming the lives of those discarded by society. Homeboy Industries is a successful social enterprise that has provided a second chance to many who had given up hope. Fr Greg’s inspiring stories offer us lessons—and hope—about how, if we put our minds and hearts into it, we can all make a difference.
