𝐁𝐈𝐑 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘: 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐞𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐀𝐆𝐄

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) advises all concerned taxpayers, Revenue officials, and employees currently using the eBIRForms Offline Package to download and install the latest version, eBIRForms Offline Package Version 7.9.6.0 or 7.9.6.1.

Older versions of the eBIRForms Offline Package will be discontinued and will no longer be supported.

Taxpayers are encouraged to update at the earliest opportunity and carefully follow the procedures in the accompanying User Manual, particularly those covering the backup and restoration of previously saved tax returns and related data.

1. Delete your encoded/saved returns and re-encode before submitting the returns
2. Download new version of eBIRForms Package if the error persists
3. Restart your computer.

eBIRFORMS Not Working ‼️

Advisory from RDO 081- Cebu City North for those taxpayers who still cant file their returns using eBIRFORMS Offline Facility. In addition, we recommend sending an email to your RDO to make sure of the guidelines regarding this matter.

No Official Advisory Yet 👀

As of today, there is still no official advisory on how taxpayers should proceed regarding the ongoing system issue, particularly for those who were unable to file their returns by the August 10 deadline because of the error.

The quarterly 1701Q deadline is also fast approaching. Taxpayers should not be penalized for delays caused by a system failure beyond their control.

We hope the BIR will issue clear guidance soon on how affected taxpayers should proceed and ensure that no penalties or interest will be imposed on those who were unable to file on time due to the system issue.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | eBIRForms SYSTEM UNAVAILABLE

📌 Taxpayers who are unable to submit through eBIRForms due to the system error are advised to:

1. Proceed with filing of the applicable tax return thru eBIRForms
2. Print a screenshot of the eBIRForms error encountered, ensuring that the date and time stamp are clearly visible; and
3. Attach a copy of the BIR Advisory on the eBIRForms system unavailability, together with the printed screenshot, as supporting documentation.

Taxpayers are encouraged to keep these documents for proper reference and documentation of the system unavailability encountered during filing.
