Adopt-an-Estero/Water Body Program - Region 7 Adopt-an-Estero/Water Body Program On March 1, 2011, the DENR launched the “ADOPT-AN-ESTERO/WATER BODY PROGRAM” for Metro Cebu.

This program was initiated by DENR Secretary Ramon J.P. Paje and was launched in 2010 for Metro Manila. The program aims to strengthen the partnerships among the concerned sectors and organizations who would be working together to restore the healthy state of our water bodies, and safeguard the well-being of the residents.
