On October 15, 2026, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) had the privilege of visiting the Vitro Data Center in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, to learn more about data center operations and the role of digital infrastructure in supporting businesses.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Javier C. Lagdameo, Vice President of PLDT Enterprise, and the rest of the PLDT Enterprise team for warmly welcoming our delegation and leading the visit. Special thanks to Ms. Ma. Hazel D. Amoyan, Senior Manager of PLDT Enterprise Visayas, and Ms. Zarah Andales, Business Head of PLDT Enterprise Cebu, who traveled all the way from Cebu to Manila to accompany us.

The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) attended the 52nd Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBC&E) held at The Manila Hotel on October 13–14, 2026, together with chamber representatives and business leaders from across the country.

The delegation was led by President Barbara Gothong-Tan, together with Immediate Past President Mark Anthony Ynoc, Vice President for Internal Affairs Walter Ong, Corporate Secretary Marvey Alcantara, Treasurer Kenneth Lim, Executive Director Marlene Bedia, and members of the MCCI Secretariat.

Prior to the conference, on October 12, President Gothong-Tan was invited as a Resource Speaker for the National Chamber Development Forum, “Learning from the Philippine Experience: LCCIs Creating Impact.” She shared MCCI’s best practices in membership development, advocacy, resource generation, and innovative chamber services, highlighting the Chamber’s efforts to respond to the needs of its members and the Mandaue business community.

Through this engagement, MCCI shared its experiences and exchanged insights with fellow local chambers on strengthening chamber operations, delivering better services to members, and supporting local economic development.

𝗠𝗖𝗖𝗜 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

On October 8, 2026, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (MCCI) held its 3rd Industrial Plant Tour as part of Mandaue Business Month (MBM) 2026, bringing together more than 80 participants for a day of industry learning and business networking.

Participants visited Treasure Island Packaging Corporation (iPak), CLC Marketing Ventures Cebu, Visayan Electric Company (VECO) Operations Center, Coast Pacific Manufacturing Corporation, and Monde Nissin Corporation, gaining firsthand insights into their operations, processes, and innovations.

The Chamber was honored by the presence of Mandaue City Mayor Thadeo Jovito “Jonkie” Ouano, Councilor Atty. Joel Seno, Consul Yudai Ueno, Consul-General of Japan in Cebu, and Ms. Jeanette Salvana, Executive Secretary to the Consul-General, highlighting the value of collaboration among business, government, and international partners.

MCCI extends its sincere appreciation to the host companies for welcoming our participants and sharing valuable insights into their operations. We also thank Mandani Bay for providing the assembly venue and extending its hospitality, NUTS RV Philippines Corporation for the memorable RV experience, and Mandaue Investment Promotions Tourism Action Center (MIPTAC) for its transportation support.

MCCI Logistics Conference 2026

The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) successfully concluded the third run of its Logistics Conference on September 25, 2026 at City Sports Club Cebu, bringing together industry leaders, experts, government representatives, and business stakeholders for a meaningful exchange of insights on the evolving logistics and supply chain landscape.

The conference featured distinguished speakers who shared valuable perspectives on key issues affecting the industry:

• Mr. Charlie Villaseñor, Chairman of the Board, PASIA Shared Services Corporation and Transpocure
