Our main objective on our program is to provide students world-class experience in the hospitality industry. By doing so, we always equip the students through a series of training and professional development. However, our time to prepare the students is insufficient, thus, we always request to the Higher Education Institution to assist us on preparing the students for their training.
Though, most students have already studied Personality Development and English 101, we highly recommend to all HEI’s that the students should have another refresher program before their practicum. Notably, Personality Development and English proficiency are essentials for international practicum.
Based on our assessments, around 5 of out 10 students are unsuccessful with their interviews.
Most hotels reject applicants who fail to communicate well during the interview. Mastery in the English language is not necessary, however, students who cannot express themselves well during the interview always fail.
Therefore, enriching personality development and English literacy programs for the students will boost their confidence during the interview.
Furthermore, this will enable them to perform at their very best for their actual internship, particularly through formal and informal conversations with guests, co-training, and co-employees.
