GPM is ready to roll

Magsaysay-wide Sportsfest 2026 is approaching. The pins are set, the lights are bright, and GPM is ready to roll. Join us this Friday, September 18, 2026, at 2 PM at Paeng’s Midtown Bowl, Robinson’s Manila.

GPM team will enter the competition focused and confident after strong practice sessions. Mar Llagas said, “I’d say we’re feeling confident and excited. We’ve prepared well, and now it’s really about staying focused, trusting our game, and giving our best in every frame.”

“Our main strategy is to stay consistent. We’ll support each other throughout the games, especially when someone has a tough frame, and make sure we stay focused on the next shot. We’ll take it one frame at a time and work together to build the strongest team score we can,” he added.

As the GPM Team gears up for competition, Mar shared an inspiring message to boost morale and remind everyone of the hard work that brought them to this moment.

“We can do this, GPM Team! I know how much fire you have in your heart to win this, and I know everyone is ready to give their best. We’ve practiced, prepared, and now it’s time to enjoy the game and compete. Trust your game, trust your teammates, and just focus on each shot. If you have a tough frame, shake it off and focus on the next one. Let’s keep encouraging each other, keep the energy up, and give it everything we’ve got. GPM Celebrates New Certified Payroll Specialists

In the fast-evolving landscape of finance and human resources, payroll specialists serve as structural pillars of organizational efficiency and risk management. Global Process Manager Inc. (GPM) is proud to announce that Payroll Officers, Antonette Rey and Reinalyn Polintan have successfully earned their Certified Payroll Specialist (CPS) credentials, conferred by the Institute of Accounting Technologists, Inc. (IATI).

Driving Global Process Excellence

On behalf of Global Process Manager (GPM), we were pleased to welcome René Dalgas, Head of Project Management and PMO, to Wrist Service Center (WSC) for a valuable visit focused on advancing process optimization and strengthening global process alignment across the Wrist organization.

René’s visit forms part of Wrist’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence. Discussions focused on enhancing Standard Operating Procedures, identifying opportunities for process optimization, and further harmonizing workflows across global operations. These initiatives are essential to creating a more efficient, consistent, and collaborative organization worldwide.

René was welcomed by GPM’s President, Erik M. Nielsen and Assistant General Manager, Ilde C. Dimailig, together with the WSC leadership team, including Manny Gonzales, Head of Operations, and Clave Ramirez, People Business Partner.

The visit underscored the importance of collaboration in driving standardized processes and reinforced our shared commitment to the One Wrist vision through continuous improvement, operational excellence, and global alignment.

Fairmont Shipping HK Purchasing and IT Manager visits Fairmont-Magsaysay Manila Team

Global Process Manager Inc. (GPM) welcomed Jeffrey Ababa, Purchasing and IT Manager of Fairmont Shipping HK LTD., during a visit to Manila from July 28 to 31. The visit aimed to enhance purchasing operations and support organizational transition initiatives.

During his visit, Mr. Ababa monitored and evaluated team performance in Manila and facilitated the transfer and expansion of purchasing responsibilities from the Hong Kong team to the Manila staff. He also conducted training sessions on the use of the Hong Kong purchasing application and related processes, guiding the team to ensure a smooth and effective transition of purchasing activities.

Additionally, the visit was intended to foster close coordination with the Fairmont-Magsaysay Manila IT team to ensure smooth system implementation and support. In August 2025, GPM hosted the Fairmont-Magsaysay Manila IT team in support of Fairmont Shipping (Hong Kong) Ltd.

GPM Sportsfest 2026 concludes with Garrets and Wrist taking Volleyball and Basketball crowns

On August 1, 2026, the GPM Sportsfest 2026 officially concluded with an exciting final day of competition held at the Associated Marine Officers' and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP) Gym, located at Julio Nakpil corner Pilar Hidalgo Lim Streets, Malate, Manila.

The final day featured intense volleyball and basketball matchups as participating teams showcased their teamwork, dedication, and competitive spirit in front of their fellow GPM employees and supporters. The volleyball tournament delivered thrilling performances, beginning with a five-set showdown between Fairmont/Hassei and the Travel Group.

Fairmont/Hassei took control early, winning the opening and third sets for a 2-1 lead. However, Travel Group showed resilience and fought back in the fourth set to extend the match into a deciding fifth set. Fairmont/Hassei remained composed during the final set and secured the victory over Travel with set scores of 25–21, 25–28, 25–18, 23–25, and 15–11.

In the second volleyball game, Garrets faced GPM in another competitive matchup. Garrets established an early lead after winning the first two sets, while GPM responded with a third-set victory. Garrets regained momentum in the fourth set to close out the match and claim the win over GPM with set scores of 25–22, 25–21, 20–25, and 25–16.

The basketball games also delivered exciting action during the final day of the GPM Sportsfest 2026. In the first game, Garrets secured a strong victory against Travel Group, dominating the match with a final score of 87–50. The second game featured a high-scoring battle between Wrist and GPM, where Wrist emerged victorious after an intense matchup with a final score of 92–85.

Following the exciting championship games, the GPM Sportsfest 2026 awarding ceremony recognized the achievements of the teams and individual players who showcased outstanding performance throughout the competition:

Hassei Japan Sales Executive connects with Manila team

On July 14, 2026, Global Process Manager, Inc. (GPM) welcomed Ms. Mana Koike, Sales Executive from Hassei Japan. She paid a brief visit to discuss the Manila team’s implementation of the new system. In addition, a courtesy visit was conducted to one of Hassei’s valued customers, Magsaysay MOL, further strengthening business relationships and fostering continued collaboration.

GPM Sportsfest 2026 Day 4 Volleyball and Basketball Action Ignite the Competition

On July 25, 2026, the excitement of GPM Sportsfest 2026 Day 4 continued at the Associated Marine Officers' and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP) Gym, located at Julio Nakpil corner Pilar Hidalgo Lim Streets, Malate, Manila, where employees once again showcased exceptional teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.

The day opened with an exciting volleyball matchup between Garrets and Fairmont/Hassei. After dropping the opening set, Garrets rallied with an impressive comeback, winning the next three sets to secure a 3-1 victory. The final set scores were 21-25, 25-19, 25-20, and 25-17, highlighting Garrets' resilience and strong teamwork throughout the match.

The second volleyball game featured GPM against Travel. GPM displayed outstanding consistency and control from the opening serve, sweeping the match in straight sets with scores of 25-21, 25-19, and 25-22. Their commanding 3-0 victory showcased disciplined defense and well-executed offensive plays.

The basketball competition continued the day's excitement with three thrilling matchups. Travel claimed a convincing 69-49 victory over BoConcept, delivering a well-rounded performance on both ends of the court. In the second game, Wrist edged out Garrets in a tightly contested battle, emerging victorious with an 81-76 win after an intense exchange of baskets. The final scheduled game saw GPM earn a win by default against GN, adding another victory to their campaign.

With Day 4 wrapped up, the race to the championship is set! On August 2, the GPM Sportsfest 2026 concludes with an exciting quadrupleheader. The action kicks off on the volleyball court with a battle for the Bronze Medal between Fairmont/Hassei and the Travel Group. Immediately after, the highly anticipated Volleyball Championship match will see GPM go head-to-head against Garrets.

Over on the basketball side, the fight for third place features a showdown between Garrets and the Travel Group. Once the bronze is claimed, the main event begins: the Basketball Championship game between GPM and Wrist.

Ukraine–Philippines Business Forum: Connecting Markets, Creating Opportunities, Strengthening Partnerships

Global Process Manager, Inc. (GPM) was honored to participate in the Ukraine–Philippines Business Forum, represented by Mr. Erik M. Nielsen, President, and Ms. Ilde C. Dimailig, Assistant General Manager. The forum brought together government leaders, business executives, investors, chambers of commerce, and industry experts from both Ukraine and the Philippines to explore new opportunities for trade, investment, technology exchange, and economic cooperation.

Held at Narra Hall, BDO Towers Valero in Makati City, the forum served as a valuable platform for strengthening bilateral relations and fostering meaningful dialogue on the future of Ukraine–Philippines economic engagement. While the partnership between the two countries is currently considered modest, speakers and participants highlighted significant potential for growth across key sectors, including semiconductors, IT and digital services, agriculture and food production, maritime services, ship design, technology, infrastructure development, and future reconstruction initiatives in Ukraine.

A notable presence at the forum was H.E. Yuliia Fediv, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of the Philippines, whose participation underscored Ukraine's commitment to expanding cooperation and building stronger economic ties with Philippine stakeholders.

The forum featured insightful discussions from distinguished speakers, including H.E. Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, who emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral relations and creating new pathways for economic collaboration. Participants also heard from DTI Undersecretary Ceferino Rodolfo, who shared perspectives on enhancing trade and investment opportunities and strengthening economic partnerships between the two nations.
