When an Army Speaks

✍️The Psalms penned by David are some of my favorite verses in the Bible. He was known as a man after God’s own heart. In many of the Psalms, you can feel his heartbeat for the Lord. ❤️‍🔥

📖“Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
(‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

❤️‍🔥Trust.

❤️‍🔥It can be a challenge to give up control. We like to solve problems but David is telling us to trust the Lord.

📖“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.”
(‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

🤍Dear, no matter what you face today - your hope is in the Lord.

📖“The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.”

🥰CHRIST JESUS LOVES YOU MOST!💝🫰

❤️‍🔥 The Bible is a revelation of the fact that God is love. Many people misunderstand the attribute of God’s nature which is love. “God is love” does not mean that everything is sweet, beautiful, and happy, and that God’s love could not possibly allow punishment for sin.

❤️‍🔥 When we preach justice, it is justice tempered with love. When we preach righteousness, it is righteousness founded on love. When we preach atonement, it is atonement planned by love, provided by love, given by love, finished by love, necessitated because of love. When we preach the resurrection of Christ, we are preaching the miracle of love. When we preach the return of Christ, we are preaching the fulfillment of love.

❤️‍🔥 No matter what sin you have committed, or how terrible, dirty, or shameful it may be, God loves you. This love of God is immeasurable, unmistakable, and unending!

Dear, you are lavishly loved by our Heavenly Father.❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

JOY to the world the Lord has come🎶🎶🥰💖

Psalms 98: 1-9🎶
1 Sing to the Lord a new song,
for Ge has done marvelous things;
HIs right hand and His holy arm
have worked salvation for him.

2 The Lord has made His salvation known
and revealed His righteousness to the nations.

3 He has remembered His love
and His faithfulness to Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.

4 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;

5 make music to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of singing,

6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn—

the world, and all who live in it.

🥰I’ve spent the month of December writing daily devotions about the Lord Jesus. In this final week, I’m spending time examining this scripture. 💝

📖“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
(‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Let’s look at that first sentence.

❤️‍🔥“A son is given”.

❤️‍🔥Our Heavenly Father gave His son because He loves us.

📖“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

❤️‍🔥We can’t talk about the birth of the Lord Jesus without connecting the cross and the empty grave.

💝The Father gave His son. He did it to save us.

📖“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
‭‭(John‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

❤️‍🔥The Lord Jesus took my sin and yours to the cross. He died in our place. When we make Jesus our Lord and Savior, we are forgiven, freed from our past have a future in Heaven. ❤️‍🔥

💝Christmas is all about the Father giving His son to the world. That babe in Bethlehem is the Savior, the Risen and victorious King!👑🙌🙌🙌

Friend, let’s focus on the gift of Jesus!💝

🌸𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗦🌸

From the Prunus genus, Sakura or the Japanese Cherryblossoms comes in varied colors and blooms in March to April signifiying the arrival of Spring, an interlude to the rising temperatures of Summer. In Japanese culture, the transience of these exquisite flowers, has often been associated with mortality.

As I gaze upon the flowers up top the trees, I cannot help but recognize the flowers blanketing the walkpaths. Often, people admire the blossoms during this season, but I believe that spring is a time to contemplate the brevity of life and to practice gratitude and mindfulness.

The cherry blossoms teach us that life is short and begs the question on how and to whom we should spend it. They remind us to seize the graces of each unrepeatable moment.

In 1 John 2:17 says, "And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." Commit your life to God today, and see how beautiful you will blossom in this life and in the eternity to come.
