Hi friends! Mystival: Mystics’ Readers’ Room is happening this Saturday at Balay Kalinaw.

The day begins with a sound bath at 10:00 AM: Held by Sound, a guided meditation and sound bath with Len & Bryson — created to gently support rest, grounding, and a much-needed nervous system reset: with an intention of letting abundance into our lives!

At 11:00 AM, Karma Jigme Lodroe leads a Medicine Buddha gathering. Guests are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle or tumbler for blessings and charging, and surprise gifts await participants. 💙 Limited spots available (note: this is seated on carpeted floor please wear socks or bring a fresh pair).

As the day unfolds, the space transforms into RITUAL SPACE with our K I N D - an apothecary products :
• Make Your Own Cuppa Cacao
• Play with Sound — explore the crystal singing bowls and instruments used during Len’s sound baths
• Personalise Your Own Sacred Herb Bundle
• Oracle Card Pull

Energy exchange is Php1111, or Php999 for returning sound bath guests.

You are also welcome to simply wander (drop in Php200 by the door), through the gathering, explore healing modalities from our Mystics, connect with readers and healers, shop some baubles, trinkets, and healing products and then enjoy nourishing plant-based food and drinks throughout the day.

This pocket gathering was created for those who may need a little quiet, softness, reflection, and nourishment in the middle of a busy world.

Candles 🕯️

Last Mystival, Len had the chance to dive a bit into the art of Candle Magick—one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to work with energy and intention.

For her spellwork isn’t about instant miracles—it’s about shifting your energy toward an intended goal. It’s aligning your thoughts, emotions, and actions with what you desire, using tools like candles as conduits for transformation.

Here’s a simple outline of what she intended to cover but focused more on intention setting :

✨ The Power of Fire → Why candles are potent tools for manifestation and energy work.
✨ Color Correspondences → Choosing the right candle color for love, protection, abundance, and clarity.
✨ Dressing & Anointing → Infusing candles with herbs, oils, and sigils to amplify their power.
✨ Setting Intentions → The importance of focus, visualization, and belief.
✨ Timing & Lunar Phases → How working with the moon enhances spell work.
✨ Charging & Activation → The final step of empowering your candle before lighting it.

To those who attended, Len gifted intentionally charged candles—infused with the new moon’s energy to attract high vibrations and new beginnings. ✨

Remember — it’s not so much about the colour or the infused oils or what you inscribe on the candle — it’s the shift in energy — it’s the choices you make everyday, it’s neuroplasticity working everytime you learn something new. It’s a conscious decision on your part — to do something and change toward that intended goal. Rituals help you, support you on your journey — these tools are always helpful — but ultimately the Magick reside in you.

Because of your kindness, we were able to make a few donations that truly made a difference—a dog needing chemo sessions, a cat who required urgent vet care after an accident on campus, and some incredible humans who selflessly feed and rescue strays.
