Our recent Senior Officers Seminar here in Iloilo brought together senior officers for two days of learning, collaboration, and professional development.

The program focused on strengthening leadership at sea, advancing technical and operational skills, embracing new technologies, and supporting long-term career growth, helping our senior officers stay prepared for the evolving demands of today’s maritime industry.

Beyond the presentations and discussions, the seminar, as always, provided a valuable opportunity for colleagues to exchange experiences, strengthen relationships, and build connections with fellow seafarers and the Marlow team ashore.

A sincere thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to yet another successful event.

🎉🇵🇭 Celebrating 30 Years of Marlow Philippines with our Communities 💙⚓

Thirty years is more than a milestone – it's a journey built on people and partners.

Thirty years ago, we began with a simple goal: to serve seafarers and support their careers at sea. As we celebrate our 30th Anniversary, marked during a townhall gathering recently, we find ourselves reflecting not only on how far the company has come, but also on the people and communities that have been part of this journey.

To our seafarers, employees, clients, colleagues, partners and friends, THANK YOU for being part of this incredible journey. Here's to the next chapter, together! 🙏💙

Milestones like this naturally invite celebration, but they also give us a chance to look beyond ourselves. That’s why, as part of our anniversary, we chose to focus more on giving something back to the communities that have been part of our story, with initiatives that create a positive impact in the lives of others.

This includes donating computers and financial support to local schools, charitable foundations and communities, helping create more opportunities for learning and development for children and those underprivileged. 💻📚

Supporting seafarers, their families and the communities around us has always been, and will continue to be, at the heart of what we do.

The day was about taking the time to say something simple: THANK YOU!

Thank you to the seafarers and cadets who place their trust in us, who dedicate themselves to life at sea, and who keep global trade flowing every day through their dedication, hard work, resilience and professionalism.

It was a pleasure to spend the day meeting, sharing stories, offering support and celebrating the people at the heart of our company and industry.

Life at sea comes with challenges, but also opportunity, achievement and purpose. By supporting our seafarers through training, wellbeing, inclusion and long-term career development, we help build a stronger, more resilient maritime industry for generations to come. 🌏🙏

Today we celebrate those at sea whose ongoing dedication keeps trade flowing and the world moving. 🌏⚓

From the food on our tables, comforts and the medicines we rely on, to the energy, raw materials, technology and everyday goods that power modern life, so much of what we depend on reaches us by sea. Yet behind every shipment, every voyage and every delivery is something far more important – people – who embrace responsibility, adapt to challenges and remain committed to their profession and life at sea, often in demanding and unpredictable conditions.

This year’s theme, “Carrying world trade. Carrying the risks.”, is a reminder that while the contribution of seafarers is essential, it should never be taken for granted. Behind every successful voyage are the foundations that help people thrive at sea: opportunity, training, wellbeing, inclusion, trust and support.

Today we highlight this to the world and thank all seafarers for their dedication, commitment and sacrifice. 🙏💙
