In another affirmation of PNUโs culture of excellence, the Professional Regulation Commission, through the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers, formally bestowed on the institution the recognition for its exemplary performance in the September 21 and November 30, 2025, Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT). This recognition is particularly awarded to PNU for the achievement of its main campus in Manila, which ranked 4th among institutions with 100 to 299 examinees and with at least a 90% passing rate. PNU Manila recorded a performance rating of 97.56%, wherein 160 out of the 164 PNUans who took the exam passed.
The said accolade was received by PNU during the oath-taking ceremony of the BLEPT passers held on January 31, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Receiving the award on behalf of PNU was Vice President for Academics Dr. Marilyn U. Balagtas. The certificate of recognition is signed by no less than the members of the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers headed by Chairperson Rosita L. Navarro and the Professional Regulation Commission Chairperson Charito A. Zamora.
Earlier today, February 2, 2026, the recognition was formally presented to the PNU Community as the University President Dr. Bert J. Tuga presented the certificate to the PNU community, bringing about yet another collective sense of pride.
In this rendition of the board licensure, three of Inang Pamantasanโs pride have etched their names in the prestigious list of topnotchers. For the Secondary Level, Raidar Metoda Lasala of PNU Visayas shared the Top 3 spot with a rating of 94.40%, while Jenny Baccay Pabayos of PNU Manila secured the Top 7 post with a rating of 93.60%. In the Elementary Level, PNU South Luzonโs Stephanie Alyssa Malihan Lladonez secured the Top 5 spot with a rating of 93.20%.
