📢 TAXPAYERS, BREATHE!

The BIR has officially issued RMC No. 107-2025 (Nov 24, 2025) ordering the immediate nationwide suspension of all audit and field operations — including:
✔️ Issuance of LOA
✔️ Mission Orders
✔️ Examination & Verification of Books of Accounts
✔️ Other related transactions

This suspension will remain in effect until lifted by the Commissioner.

The move aims to curb irregular audit practices, protect taxpayer rights, and promote a more transparent tax system.
Note: Certain operations like investigations of prescribing cases and processing of one-time transactions are still allowed.
