What is Phishing? Many have experienced this but doesn’t know that that was actually called Phishing. According to Merriam Webster, Phishing is a scam by which an e-mail user is duped into revealing personal or confidential information which the scammer can use illicitly. It is a form of stealing however in phishing the scammer steals the personal information of someone and as well credit card information.
The group interviewed few random people asking if they know what phishing is. And they all answered wrong. Because in reality, we call this just a scam and we don’t know that this is actually called Phishing. Three people were interviewed about their experience on phishing.
The interviewee advices the future online shoppers to be more careful in any online shops in giving information. The other interviewee advice on social media and any other sites to be more careful.

One of the most widely used social networks, Facebook, which was among the biggest in Internet technology. Having a social media account is good because it is very much helpful, but it can also be dangerous, because of the numbers of people who have been a victim of social media posers. A poser is a person that has no goal to accomplish, other than to irritate those around them in desperate pleas and cries for help. They pretend to be something or someone their not, just to fit in or to seem cool, not because they like it, they just want to irritate that person.

The advancement of technology has led to hope that all netizens are given equal rights and opportunities in different kinds of platforms of the internet. The rise of cyberbullying, however, diminishes this improvement. Cases of su***de, self-harm, and depression have increased due to this. People, whether young or adult, have been victims thus leading a spark of interest of cyberbullying to schools, lawmakers, parents, and netizens. Not only, the government also have noticed the toll of this act and have taken action through the implementation of Republic Act 10627.

In order to raise awareness to netizens about cyberbullying, a group of advocates have chosen to create a video to assist the prevention of cyberbullying. You can do your part too. By typing and spreading , you can become an advocate who does not support this heinous action. Let's put an end to cyberbullying. Together.
