21 STAGES OF FILTRATION AND PURIFICATION
1st UNIT – 20” SLIM SEDIMENT 10 MICRON FILTER
1st Stage – Raw water passes initial pre-treatment process before entering the raw water holding tank to reduce effect of sedimentation to the tank and multi media filter.
2nd UNIT – MULTI MEDIA DEPTH FILTER
For the removal of turbidity in the water caused by sand, silt, ferric iron and oxidized manganese or
sulfur.
2nd Stage – coarse gravel traps solid particles up to about 100 microns. It is also used as a support to keep smaller Medias out of the distribution system and to stop channeling of water.
3rd Stage – premium grade assorted pebbles removes turbidity in the water down to 50 microns
4th Stage – Utilizes Garnet Media, a naturally hard and durable high specific gravity mineral, high specific gravity lends more control during backwash and lower losses to drain. The angular shapes provides more ability to filter and longer production runs.
5th Stage – Silica Sand provides the necessary support for the upper layer and assists in the hydraulic involve during the backwash cycle. Traps fine sediments down to 25 microns.
6th Stage – Anthracite layer removes iron and manganese and improves hydraulic properties of the filter bed.
3rd UNIT - MULTI-MEDIA CARBON PROCESS
7th Stage – Coarse gravel used as filter support bed to keep smaller medias out of the distribution system
8th Stage –Lignite carbon removes foul taste and odor
9th Stage –Bituminous carbon removes yellowish and brownish discoloration brought by inorganic contaminants.
10th Stage – Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) further removes foul taste and odor with longer contact time and eliminates the chlorine content of the water. membrane.
4th UNIT – WATER SOFTENER AND CONDITIONER
11th Stage – Coarse gravel used as filter support bed to keep smaller medias out of the distribution system.
12th Stage – Assorted pebbles provides additional support to the filter bed and prevents finer media losses during backwash.
13th Stage – Uses another carbon layers to remove any chemical that might present in the production water.
14th Stage – Uses cation resin beads that attract calcium and magnesium (in-organic, hard minerals) thus converts water into Soft.
5th UNIT - R.O. PRE FILTER – 1
15th Stage – Consist of Slim 20 inches housing with 10 micron cartridge-type sediment filter that will eliminate sediments down to 10 micron.
6th UNIT – R.O. PRE FILTER – 2
16th Stage – Consist of Slim 20 inches housing with 5 micron cartridge-type sediment filter that will remove any microscopic particle that might clog the Reverse Osmosis membrane.
7th UNIT – REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM
17th Stage – The very heart of the system – Utilizes a high quality semi-permeable membrane that only allows pure water molecules to pass through and pushes the impure water to the reverse side which is the reject drain line. It has a micron rating of .0001 PPM, and eliminates up to 98% of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and dissolved minerals. Product water now goes to the holding tank.
8th UNIT – CARBON BLOCK / POLISHING STAGE
18th & 19th Stage – consists of Slim Blue 20” housing with carbon block filter that will further enhance pleasant taste of the product water and remove other suspended matters which
serve as polishing stage to make the water sparklingly clear and shiny.
9th UNIT – FINAL FILTER
20th Stage – Consist of 20 inches slim housing with cartridge type 1 micron sediment filter that will serve as final filtration before the sterilization process.
10th UNIT – ULTRA VIOLET WATER STERILIZATION PROCESS
21th Stage – Pure water undergoes a sterilization process by means of ultra violet radiation rays, which systematically destroys the reproductive capability of harmful microorganisms. Effectively eliminates a wide range of water-borne microorganisms through exposure of bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens to UV light (effectively treats cryptosporidium cyst, while giardia lamblia, and e-coli die under UV exposure).
