I am Marideth Kezzia Espliguera, a registered nurse, a mom of 2, and a freelancer since 2011. I have been working online for 10years now, and working from home has been a relief as I get to spend time with my kids, earn big while inspiring other people's lives.
2011, I ventured into the world of freelancing by being an online English tutor. Way back then, I need to leave my job as a nurse as I wa
nted to take care of my kids while working from home. After more than a year, opted to look for other freelancing opportunities, so I explored the virtual assistant world. In 2013, I got hired and became a Real Estate Virtual Assistant. I easily got used to all the tasks, duties, and responsibilities I had with different clients. I attended a lot of training and workshops just to upskill and learn more about the niche I'm into.
2017, I joined the first batch of The Rural Impact Sourcing Training (RIST) of the Department of Information and Communications Technology for the E-commerce course. As the training progresses, I realized / indeed, it was an eye-opening opportunity for me. I was more enlightened on how powerful social media works. How magical is it to create a website on MY OWN, as I never thought I'd be able to create one? How to sell and how to help our MSMEs to the very best that we can to market their product and get a sale. It also tested my endurance as I had to manage my time and endure the training from 8 am to 5 pm then work graveyard shifts from 9 pm to 5 am. A superwoman, that's what I had to call myself back then! Thankfully, I graduated and was able to gain a lot more clients after that. In the year 2020, I was invited to be Digital jobs Ph Trainer for The Virtual Assistance Course. I have covered trainings for Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, Davao Del norte and Sarangani. Ever since then, I have loved teaching and inspiring other people's lives with what I do. My journey wasn't so easy, but it was all worth it. Today, as I look back on what I've been through, I can testify that indeed- Successful people are not gifted; they just work hard, then succeed on purpose.
