As a result, customers in Bauang and San Fernando City is currently experiencing low water pressure to no water supply while repair and restoration activities are being undertaken.

Our technical and repair teams are currently assessing the damage and working to restore the transmission line and normalize water service as soon as possible.

Update on the Operation of Bumbuneg Settling Basin

Dear Valued Customers,

Please be informed that the Bumbuneg Settling Basin has been non-operational since 25 July 2026 due to a breakdown in the transmission line located in Brgy. Balbalayang, San Gabriel, La Union.

The repair of the damaged transmission line could not proceed as initially planned due to the inclement weather brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). The prevailing conditions have increased the risk of landslides in the area and made the trek to the location of the breakdown hazardous for our repair personnel.

The safety of our personnel remains our priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and will proceed with the necessary repair works as soon as weather and site conditions permit.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this situation may cause and thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.

BREAKDOWN OF THE PUMP AND MOTOR OF ONE OF OUR DEEPWELLS IN BALLAY PUMPING STATION

LOW PRESSURE to NO WATER is currently experienced by all concessionaires from THE WHOLE TOWN of BAUANG to CITY OF SAN FERNANDO due to breakdown of the pump and motor of one of our highest producing well in Ballay Pump Station.

EMERGENCY pull-out and assessment is ongoing. Repair will proceed as soon as they have identified the problem. No timetable yet when the repair and/or replacement will be completed.
