Under Republic Act No. 9514 (The Revised Fire Code of the Philippines of 2008), blocking, hindering, or obstructing the ingress and egress of fire trucks, emergency response vehicles, designated fire lanes, access roads, alleys, and fire hydrants is strictly prohibited

To ensure the immediate deployment of the fire truck during emergencies, **no vehicle or obstruction shall be allowed to park or stop in front of the fire station’s fire truck bay or exit area**. The designated area must remain clear and unobstructed at all times to allow the fire truck to respond without delay whenever an emergency call is received. Even a short delay in deployment may affect the timely delivery of emergency response services and may put lives and property at risk. All personnel, visitors, and members of the public are therefore requested to strictly observe and maintain the designated fire truck access area as a **NO PARKING/NO OBSTRUCTION ZONE**.

07 OCTOBER 2026 | FIRETRUCK AND EQUIPMENT DAY
Under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director of BFP Region V, and under the supervision of FCINSP FRANCIS B CASTILLO, RCrim, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal – Masbate, the personnel of BFP Mobo Fire Station, led by SFO4 Gil Allan G Tabuzo, OIC, conducted the weekly Firetruck and Equipment Day.

The activity focused on the cleaning, inspection, preventive maintenance, testing, and inventory of firefighting equipment to ensure that all equipment remains in good working condition, reliable, and ready for use at any time in responding to fire incidents and other emergencies.

The weekly conduct of the Firetruck and Equipment Day demonstrates the BFP’s continued commitment to maintaining operational readiness, equipment reliability, and effective emergency response for the safety and welfare of the community.

Under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director of BFP Region V, and under the supervision of FCINSP FRANCIS B CASTILLO, RCrim, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal of Masbate, the personnel of BFP Mobo Fire Station, led by SFO4 Gil Allan G Tabuzo, OIC, conducted a Health and Wellness Day activity through a friendly game of basketball among the personnel.
The activity provided an opportunity for personnel to engage in physical exercise while strengthening physical fitness, teamwork, camaraderie, and overall well-being. It also served as a way to maintain the personnel’s physical readiness and endurance, which are essential in performing their duties, particularly during emergency and disaster response operations.

Under the leadership of FCSUPT JUNITO F MASLANG, DSC, Regional Director of BFP Region V, and under the direct supervision of FCINSP FRANCIS B CASTILLO, RCrim, Provincial Fire Marshal of Masbate, the personnel of BFP Mobo Fire Station, led by SFO4 Gil Allan G Tabuzo, Officer-in-Charge, conducted a Troop Information and Education (TI&E) Session, as part of the continuing efforts to strengthen discipline, unity, camaraderie, and patriotism among government personnel, while promoting a deeper sense of responsibility and commitment to public service.

Through this regular initiative, personnel are provided with relevant information and guidance that contribute to their professional growth, operational readiness, and continued dedication to serving and protecting the community.
