As a someone who believes in the importance of mental health, I donโt think the question is simply, โWhat game did they play?โ or โWhat social media platform did they use?
The deeper question is: Who was listening? Who noticed? Who asked if they were okay?
Psychology teaches us that children and adolescents need connection, belonging, guidance, and healthy adults who can help them navigate their emotions. Technology is not raising our childrenโwe are. Social media is not replacing parents and teachers unless we allow it to.
Be present. Know what your children watch, play, and feel.
๐ป๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: Bullying is never โjust part of growing up.โ Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and valued. Or every difficult behavior has a story that needs to be unpacked.

Pay attention. Sometimes a child who is acting out is actually crying out.
Our children do not only need rules. They need relationships. They need adults who will listen before their pain becomes silence, anger, or tragedy.
