The University Business Affairs Program (UBAP) of Central Luzon State University (CLSU) successfully hosted delegates from Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) for a knowledge sharing activity aimed at strengthening their Income-Generating Initiatives (IGPs) through institutional learning and collaboration, held on April 29, 2026.
The activity was led by the directors and project managers of the CLSU UBAP offices, namely the Animal Production Office (APO), Crop Production Office (CPO), Business Development Office (BDO), and Economic Zone and Enterprise Development Office (EZEDO). The session focused on discussions of best practices, management approaches, and operational strategies in sustaining successful IGP initiatives.
ASCOTโs participation underscored its proactive efforts to enhance its initiatives through collaborative learning. The delegation was composed of the following officials and personnel:

During the activity, CLSU officials began with Dr. Joice V. San Andres, Director of the Animal Production Office (APO), together with Mr. Kier G. Santiago, Project Manager for the Poultry Module. They shared valuable insights on poultry, broiler, and swine project management, including strategies for revenue generation, operational efficiency, production management, and long-term sustainability.
Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Jaypee H. Estigoy, Director of the Crop Production Office (CPO), presented best practices, operational strategies, and management approaches based on current projects such as the Rice Production Project, Nursery and Pomology/Orchard Projects (NPO 1 and 2), and the Feed and Grain Processing Center (FGPC).
Engr. Vienvenido Daniel Jr., representing Dr. Pablo J. Rafael Jr., Director of the Business Development Office (BDO), discussed the management of various projects under BDO, including the University Pasalubong Center, University Transport Services, Garment Project, Ambulant Vending, CLSU Aqua, and the University Canteen.
Additionally, Mr. Nixon D.R. Esguerra, Unit-in-Charge for Asset Development and Management, as well as Public-Private Partnerships and Strategic Investment under EZEDO, shared insights on the management of commercial spaces and land rentals, along with the officeโs operational strategies.
The discussions highlighted the importance of strategic planning and stakeholder engagement in ensuring the success of income-generating initiatives within State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).
The activity was also attended by supportive project managers from each office, including Mr. Oliver Celestino (Swine Project), Mr. Francis E. Mina (Rice Production Project), Mr. Danilo R. Discion (NPO 2), Mr. Erwin G. Padilla (FGPC), Mr. Efraim D.G. Saturno (NPO 1), Ms. Mae Angeline T. Valdez (University Pasalubong Center), Ms. Katherine Morales (Garment Project), Ms. Shairanel R. Salapare (Ambulant Vending Project), and Mr. Nixon D.R. Esguerra (CLSU Aqua and University Canteen).
The knowledge sharing activity fostered a spirit of partnership between ASCOT and CLSU, opening opportunities for continued collaboration and mutual support in advancing institutional development. Both institutions expressed optimism that such engagements will contribute to strengthening their respective programs and promoting excellence in higher education management.
