Muntinlupa City Council has passed an ordinance that:

1. Regulates youths from using the Internet cafes
2. Internet cafe operations in Muntinlupa is no longer 24/7; it operates only from 7AM to 2AM daily.
3. Children below 18 years old should be accompanied by a parent or an adult if they will stay up to 2AM.
4. Strict implementation of age-bracket limit in games. (For example, certain games, like Dota 2, can be played by customers aged 15 and above.)

Because of this, Area 11 Internet Cafe will implement strict measures soon to reflect with the ordinance implemented by the local municipal council.

The Muntinlupa City Council has passed Ordinance 17-044 that restricts the use of computer shops by these students and requires owners including those in non-commercial establishments such as homes that rent out computer units, to regulate the scope of operation.
