Is AIPP tied to POEA?
Philippine Department of Labor and Employment Advisory No. 169 series of 2020, clearly stated that "There has been no agreement made between the Philippine government and the Canadian government on the documentation and deployment of candidates under the AIPP. As a result, NO applicants for the program are being processed under POEA regulations, either by private recruitment or the government-to-government pathway."
For this reason, Gateway Visa Solution would like to refute claims made by other parties that POEA is in some way linked to AIPP.
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is completely different because AIPP is an employer-driven permanent residency program. The reason why it may require a temporary work permit is that the PR procedure is lengthy.
Now, through AIPP the primary applicant gets a temporary work permit while the spouse applies for an open work permit. This open work permit for the spouse is exempted from POEA's non-issuance of exit clearance.
