Just want to remind you that our client invests in us.

Not only with money but with time as well.

This pandemic is not only affecting us but also our clients. They too are experiencing the effects of pandemic. They too are trying to make a living.

Is it wrong to offer a low ball amount? Of course!

I am not justifying it but remember that every situation is unique and it is always not black and white.

We all need to held accountable for our decision and holding the end of the bargain when we say YES.

Don't say yes when you will leave your client in the long run.

The proper setting of expectation is very important and saying NO is equally important too.

Running businesses are not run with high emotions. You must use logical thinking and rationale before saying YES.

This goes both ways.

Freelancing and working from home is a business.

Treat it that way and make sure that when you accept the pay - it can cover the following:

1. Operational expenses - internet / electricity

2. Living expenses - food, rent and necessities

Don't say yes in the hopes that you'll find another client along the way and then leaving your client abruptly.

It is not fair for the both parties involved.

In a world where there is always NO CONTRACT,

we are always bound by our WORDS and it is a reflection of our behavior too.

It's a commitment we give to our client.

So words are always powerful.

Careful how you give it

and how you use it.
