📢 BIR TAX UPDATE

🧾 New invoice information to take note of!

The Bureau of Internal Revenue has issued Revenue Regulations No. 6-2026, amending the mandatory information required in invoices under Section 6(B) of RR No. 7-2024 to include Creditable Withholding Tax (CWT) information.

Invoices will now include the necessary CWT information, providing clearer documentation of withholding tax related to the transaction.

Taxpayers are encouraged to review their invoice formats and ensure compliance with the updated invoicing requirements.

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE!

The Bureau of Internal Revenue outlines the policies and guidelines for Electronic Invoicing.
• Deadline: December 31, 2026 (except for Micro Taxpayers)
• Who is covered: E-commerce, Large Taxpayers, CAS/CBA users, and others.

Note: Documents like MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs are not valid for e-invoice tax compliance.
