In celebration of ๐๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐๐, DOST-MIMAROPA highlights the DOST Innovation Hubs (iHUBs) as open and collaborative spaces that empower communities through science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The DOST iHUBs are open-access innovation spaces designed to support students, researchers, startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in transforming ideas into real-world solutions. Through mentorship, networking opportunities, innovation support services, and access to collaborative workspaces and prototyping resources, the iHUBs help strengthen the regionโs growing innovation ecosystem.
To expand access to innovation services across the region, DOST-MIMAROPA established and operationalized five provincial DOST iHUBs in Romblon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan. Collectively, these iHUBs have engaged 5,229 users through various innovation-driven activities, including pre-incubation support, mentoring sessions, pitching activities, networking opportunities, and the promotion of research and development outputs.
More than just co-working spaces, the DOST iHUBs nurture early-stage innovators by bridging the gap between ideation and formal incubation โ helping transform concepts, technologies, and research outputs into viable and impactful solutions that address local and national challenges.
As part of DOST-MIMAROPAโs commitment to transparency, accessibility, accountability, and inclusive innovation, the DOST iHUBs remain open to individuals and communities who aspire to innovate, collaborate, and create meaningful change through science, technology, and innovation.
Visit the DOST iHUBs in MIMAROPA and discover how innovation can work for you and your community.
