Ang hand flapping ay isang karaniwang kilos sa mga batang may autism. Ito ay bahagi ng tinatawag na self-stimulatory behavior (stimming)—isang paraan para sila ay makapag-regulate ng emosyon, makaramdam ng ginhawa, o makapagpahayag ng nararamdaman.
