BREAKING NEWS: 18 Ex-Marines Claim: P805 Billion Delivered in Suitcases to PBBM, Romualdez

Eighteen former members of the Philippine Marines have come forward with explosive allegations, claiming they delivered a staggering ₱805 billion in cash—packed inside suitcases—to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

According to their statements, the money was allegedly transported via vans and, in some instances, flown by aircraft to designated locations.

As of this writing, there has been no official response from the camps of the named officials regarding the allegations.

Senate President Tito Sotto said he is now inclined to support moves to amend the Constitution following a Supreme Court decision that struck down the Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte as unconstitutional.

Sotto argued that the ruling effectively altered how constitutional provisions on impeachment are interpreted, prompting lawmakers to consider exercising their own authority to introduce changes.

“Kung ang supreme court puwedeng galawin ang constitution, aba’y dapat galawin na namin. Kami ang empowered to do so,” Sotto said.

REMULLA BROTHERS TINANGKA UMANONG SUHULAN

Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla disclosed that he and his brother, Ombudsman Samuel “Boying” Remulla, were each offered ₱1 billion in separate bribery attempts, which he said were promptly turned down and reported to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

According to Remulla, the first offer allegedly came from what he described as a “cong-tractor,” referring to a congressman who is also a contractor based in Luzon. This was followed by a second offer from a contractor operating in the Visayas.

The Interior chief explained that arrests are not immediately made in such cases because the offers are often conveyed indirectly, leaving room for denial and lacking recorded evidence.

Remulla detailed the second incident, saying: “Totoo po. Isa pong contractor based on the Visayas ay nagparating sa aming mutual na kaibigan na kung pwedeng tulungan. Again, P1 billion nanaman ang inooffer sa aming magkapatid. Ni-report ko kaagad sa Pangulo ito. Siyempre, una, tinaggihan ko,” he said.
