Healthcare Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Analyst to join our growing team. This role focuses on healthcare data analytics, risk adjustment models, and operational insights to drive better patient outcomes and organizational efficiency.

Compensation
$1,500 - $1,600 USD with opportunity for growth based on performance and experience

Key Responsibilities
Analyze healthcare data with focus on HCC and RAF (Risk Adjustment Factor) scoring
Develop and maintain reports on risk adjustment metrics and quality measures
Monitor and analyze healthcare quality metrics including HEDIS, Stars ratings, and value-based care programs
Identify trends and patterns in patient populations to support care management strategies
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve data accuracy and completeness
Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
Support compliance with CMS regulations and risk adjustment methodologies

Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or related field
Strong knowledge of HCC coding and RAF score calculations
Proficiency in data analysis and healthcare metrics
Experience with Medicare Advantage, managed care, or value-based care models
Understanding of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Public Health, or related field
Preferred Qualifications (Plus)
Power BI experience - ability to create interactive dashboards and reports
Workforce Management Analytics - experience optimizing staffing models and operational efficiency
Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools
Knowledge of HEDIS, Stars, or other quality measurement programs
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
CPC, CRC, RHIA, or RHIT certification
Technical Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)
Data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
Statistical analysis and reporting
Healthcare database querying
