We apologize for the current shipping delay. Current shipping delay is caused by several reasons, among them:
1. The Chinese National Holiday rush (Oct 1-7). This is the annual Chinese national holiday where there is a general holiday for one week. Many establishments and factories are closed during the week, and thus there was a rush to ship out goods before the extended holiday, as well as a rush to ship out goods after the national holiday.
2. The recent typhoon during Oct 10-13 further wreaked havoc into the shipping schedules.
3. Because of the holiday rush and increase in demand in the Americas and Europe markets, many ships and containers are stuck in the western sphere and unable to return to China. This created a shortage in available containers and some ships refuse to sail when they are not fully loaded.
4. The port congestion in America and in Europe is caused by reduced work force both in the port operations as well as in container truck hauling. This situation has not been addressed and may continue to affect worldwide shipping, including us in the southeast Asian region.
5. Customs inspections – China customs have increased inspections this year and as a result, every container that gets inspected misses its shipping schedule, further adding to the delay.
Our commitment to address the situation:
1. We are committed to secure enough containers to load your goods every day.
2. We continue to exert our best effort in push the shipping lines to prioritize our containers
3. We are actively talking with alternative shipping lines to secure more shipping schedules.
4. We will let you know the specific situation of your goods at the best of our abilities and will prioritize them as they arrive in Manila port.
