BRITISH SCHOOL MANILA (BSM) visits the Eco-Ikot Center Robinsons Townville in BF Homes, Parañaque! 🚀♻️

Students from BSM had the opportunity to tour one of our Eco-Ikot Center facilities in Parañaque. The visit was led by our inspiring Eco-Ikot Women Champions, who guided the students through the different EIC stations and demonstrated the proper way to clean, dry, and segregate various types of recyclables.

The students also had the chance to interview and get to know our Women Champions, gaining a deeper understanding of how collective action and empowered communities can create a big impact for the planet 🌍💚

From 2024-2025, KOICA together with USAID and OSEAN has supported the Eco-Ikot Sustainable Cities (EISC) program which enabled us to establish 2 more Eco-Ikot Center facilities in Parañaque City and the City of Manila, as well as strengthen our social behavior change campaigns and initiatives on waste management and circular economy within the community 🤝

This 2026, Planet CORA continues to work on scaling up and potentially opening more Eco-Ikot Centers in different parts of the country and contribute to forwarding circular economy solutions for a cleaner and greener Pilipinas 🇵🇭

( ) struck the central Philippines this week making multiple landfalls in Cebu, Southern Leyte and Palawan from 4-5 November 2025.

The typhoon caused widespread devastation, leaving 188 people dead, 135 still missing, and displacing over 200,000 residents. Cebu and Negros were among the hardest-hit areas, suffering from floods, landslides, and massive power outages affecting more than a million households.

Planet CORA continues to accept donations to provide immediate relief efforts for those who need help the most through our Climate Action Fund.
