𝗗𝗢𝗦-𝟭 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 & 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Parañaque City — DOS-1 officially launched its Mind Wellness Lounge, a dedicated relaxation space located within the Recreation Room, designed to support mental recharge and employee well-being during break time. This initiative marks another milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to prioritize employee health, following the success of its recent Mental Health Seminar.
More than just a new facility, the Mind Wellness Lounge reflects DOS-1’s deeper commitment to fostering a workplace culture that values holistic well-being that supports employees not only in their physical health, but also in their mental and emotional wellness so they can thrive both at work and in their personal lives.
DOS-1 President Mr. Gary Cayton commented on the initiative, stating, “we believe that true wellness goes beyond physical health. We want our employees to be mentally strong and healthy; not just for work, but for themselves, their families, and the people who care about them most.”
The lounge features a Board Games Corner with activities such as Chess, Scrabble, Word Factory, Jenga, Rubik’s Cube, and such, promoting strategic thinking, creativity, and meaningful offline interaction among employees. These games also serve as preparation for the upcoming Mind Sports Tournament in the DOS-1 Olympics this summer, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition.
The launch was led by DOS-1 President Mr. Gary Cayton, Head Coordinator Mr. Edgardo Lorenzo, Company Nurse Nashra Ijiran, RN, and Co-Coordinator Mr. Mark Arciaga, whose collaborative efforts made the initiative possible.
Early feedback from employees has been positive. One employee shared that the lounge provides a refreshing alternative to screen time during breaks, while another described it as a stimulating and enjoyable way to relax and recharge after long working hours.
With the launch of the Mind Wellness Lounge, this stands as a clear reflection of DOS-1’s commitment to building a healthier, more engaged workforce. By promoting mental well-being, meaningful interaction, and a culture of care, DOS-1 continues to empower its employees; not only to perform better at work, but to live better beyond it.
