BFP-BARMM RHRMPSB CONVENES FOR DELIBERATION OF APPLICANTS WHO SUCCESSFULLY PASSED CBI

The Bureau of Fire Protection – BARMM Regional Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (RHRMPSB), presided over by Regional Chief of Staff FSSUPT BRYAN A. POCYAO, DSC, together with Regional Chief, Administrative Division FSUPT BALTAZAR S. SARADAIN, DSC, and the members of the committee, convened for a deliberation meeting at the Conference Room of the Regional Headquarters in Poblacion, Parang, Maguindanao del Norte.
The meeting focused on the deliberation of applicants who successfully passed the Complete Background Investigation (CBI) as part of the Bureau's recruitment process. The activity serves as a vital step in ensuring that only qualified, competent, and deserving individuals are considered for appointment to the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Anchored on the principles of transparency, fairness, accountability, and merit, the Regional Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board remains steadfast in upholding an impartial and objective selection process. Through thorough evaluation and adherence to established policies and standards, the Board ensures that every applicant is assessed with integrity, reinforcing public trust and promoting excellence in public service within the Bureau of Fire Protection.

CONDUCT OF MEDICAL EVALUATION FOR APPRENTICE BATCH SINDAGLAW CL 2025-02

IN PHOTOS | Under the leadership of Acting Regional Director FSSUPT FREZEIR A AGARIN, DSC, the Bureau of Fire Protection – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BFP BARMM) conducted the Medical Evaluation for Apprentice Batch SINDAGLAW CL 2025-02 today, 03 August 2026, at the Regional Multi-Purpose Hall.

The activity is part of the Prescribing Guidelines for the Six-Month Onboarding Program of Newly Appointed Fire Officer 1 (FO1) Personnel in the Bureau of Fire Protection. It aims to assess the overall health and medical fitness of the apprentices as they prepare for the responsibilities and demands of public safety service.

BFP BARMM GARDEN CHALLENGE

The activity featured the participation of the different offices and sections of the Regional Headquarters, with each presenting its own garden area.
The gardens showcased creativity, teamwork, and a shared commitment to promoting a greener and more sustainable workplace.

Serving as the Board of Judges were Hamprey B. Dequina, LPT, EOT-I of Punta Central Elementary School, and Rahima M. Abubacar, LAgr., MSc, Agriculturist I of MAFAR Buldon, whose expertise ensured a fair and meaningful evaluation of each entry.

The BFP BARMM Garden Challenge reflects the Bureau's continuing commitment to environmental stewardship while strengthening teamwork and fostering a culture of sustainability.

Under the leadership of FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NEIL A KWAN TIU, DSC, BFP Officer-in-Charge, and the stewardship of FSSUPT FREZEIR A AGARIN, DSC, Acting Regional Director, BFP BARMM, through FSSUPT BRYAN A POCYAO, DSC, Regional Chief of Staff, the Bureau of Fire Protection – BARMM Regional Headquarters convened a meeting of all Division and Section Chiefs in preparation for the Regional Visit of Assistant Secretary Richard Thomas F. Joson.

Held at the RHQ Conference Room, the meeting focused on ensuring the orderly and successful conduct of the Assistant Secretary's official visit through effective coordination, strategic planning, and unified efforts among all offices.

The Courtesy Call served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination, foster collaboration, and reaffirm the Bureau's shared commitment to enhancing fire protection services, disaster preparedness, and public safety across the region. The engagement also highlighted the importance of unity and effective leadership in achieving the Bureau's mission of delivering quality public service to the communities of BARMM.
