To those who have abused power and stolen from the people:

While we, ordinary Filipino workers, toil day and night to feed our families and pay our taxes, your families live in comfort and luxury. Your children flaunt the wealth of the nation, enjoying foreign education, luxury cars, gadgets, and lavish lifestyles - all funded not by honest labor, but by the sweat and sacrifices of millions of hardworking Filipinos.

What makes this worse is that the money you steal comes from programs and projects that were meant to uplift lives:

•𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬. Students in poor communities wait in long lines and sometimes get denied scholarships due to “lack of funds.” Yet billions vanish through fake beneficiaries, ghost students, and misused programs.

•𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬. Billions of pesos are poured into DPWH “flood control” projects every year, but corruption bleeds these projects dry. Substandard or overpriced infrastructures collapse after a single typhoon, while other projects exist only on paper. Filipinos drown in floods -while officials and contractors enrich themselves.

•𝐋𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬. Your children are not “scholars of the nation,” they are scholars of corruption - living off taxpayer money while real scholars struggle to find funds for tuition, allowance, and books.

We see the results everywhere:

•Potholes on roads just inaugurated months ago.

•Flooded streets after billions were “spent” on drainage and flood control.

•Scholarship applicants denied, while your children fly abroad for leisure.

This is not just mismanagement. This is theft. Theft of opportunity, theft of dignity, theft of the Filipino dream.

To corrupt officials, contractors, and your families: you cannot forever hide behind influence and privilege. Every lavish trip, every luxury car, every designer bag your children flaunt on social media is a glaring reminder of the lives you’ve stolen.

We, the Filipino workers, say: 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡.

Your children live lavishly while ours wade in floodwaters, struggle for scholarships, and work hard for a future you’ve stolen from them.

This is not just unfair - it is unforgivable.

Never assume a public place is safe just because it’s well-lit or familiar. Always accompany your daughters when they need to use a restroom, especially in restaurants, malls, or buildings where anyone can walk in.

𝐌𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐑 𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬?
