✨ Teachers Matter Every Single Day ✨

There will come a day when your students forget the formulas, the vocabulary words, or the dates in history.
But they will never forget you—the teacher who smiled at them, believed in them, and created a space where they felt safe and seen.

This video is a heartfelt reminder that teaching goes beyond content.
It’s about connection, care, and the small everyday moments that leave a lasting impact.

💡 To every teacher watching:
You matter. Your presence matters. Your consistency matters. Your care matters. Every single day.

A Day In a Teacher's Life
Started the day with a peaceful Taizé prayer that filled the heart with calm and clarity. 🕯️ Followed by a productive subject area meeting full of ideas and collaboration with an energizer on laughter yoga and wrapped up the afternoon ticking off paperwork with a sense of purpose. A day both spiritually refreshing and professionally fulfilling. 💛✨

“You don’t have to be perfect to be impactful.”
That line stayed with me—and became the heart of something I’ve been quietly working on.
I wrote a book of pep talks for teachers like us: tired, hopeful, showing up anyway.
It’s called Between the Bells: Grace in the Chaos and Reminding Teachers They Matter Every Single Day. I hope it finds you on the days you need it most.

During class observations, I noted that most of the teachers I visited maintained a neutral tone throughout their lessons. While this created a calm classroom atmosphere, it also appeared to contribute to more passive engagement and limited interaction between teachers and students. During our academic chat, I shared a study demonstrating how variations in verbal tone—such as inflection, emphasis, and pacing—can significantly influence students’ attention, motivation, and overall learning outcomes.
During the discussion, the teachers collectively agreed to be more mindful and intentional in varying their tone—not only in the classroom, but also in written communications with colleagues, students, and parents—to convey warmth and foster positive connections.
