Good Morning Everyone! Do you always hear/ see this phrase? “In Jesus name!”
🧞♂️Some just use it like abrakadabra! Like a magic word when we want something.. We lose its meaning and essence.
‼️😇Did you know that there are 17 bible verses about asking in Jesus name? 😇
Jesus did tell a lot of times to the disciples to pray in his name! We will not discuss all 17 but just a few.. 🙂
First thing is to “BELIEVE” believing is equivalent to our FAITH.
Matt 21:22 & Mark 11:23 (better if u read)
Therefore I tell you, “WHATEVER YOU ASKS IN 🙏 PRAYER, BELIEVE that you have received it, and it will be yours. “
Have faith means not to yourself but believe in God! We sometimes pray about little things and still have doubts about our prayers. Because we lack FAITH! In believing, there should never be DOUBTS. But one key 🔑 is mark 11:25 .
Another one is, John 15:7
If you remain in me and I remain in you, “ASK WHATEVER YOU WISH, and it will be done unto you.” The key 🔑 here is john 15:12
🤓So it is not some magic words that we should just utter... there is a command underlying each verse that we should obey.
We state those words because
john 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father but through me. ❤️🔑
And the best part is ! John 15:8
“This is for my fathers glory! “ it is in HIS name! That you bear so much fruit! Showing yourselves as my disciples! ❤️🏆
God will use you to advance His kingdom! Because you have been faithful to Him. Not for you, but always for His good glory! That everyone may know that there is God and He is our loving Father.
